The Vario downdraft is the elegant answer to extraction on an island or a sightline-critical kitchen: a slim 15 cm ventilation element that sits flush beside the cooking modules and captures steam, vapour and odour at the level they are produced, drawing them down and away rather than up into a canopy. There is no hood overhead — the room stays open, the ceiling stays clean, and the cook's view stays uninterrupted.
Composed as part of the Vario line, it belongs directly alongside the gas, induction or teppan yaki elements it serves, so extraction becomes part of the cooking surface rather than an object bolted above it. Positioned at the pan, it captures effectively and runs with the quiet precision the series is known for.
Because downdraft extraction routes ducting through the plinth or floor, the decision belongs at planning stage — designed in early, it delivers a cooking zone of complete visual calm. Ducted or recirculating configuration and module layout are specified during consultation.
