The Kitchen Affair exists for one kind of client: the one who believes the kitchen is the most important room in the house — and wants it engineered accordingly.
We are not a store. We are an atelier — a small team of consultants, specifiers, and installers who curate Europe’s great appliance and kitchen engineering houses and bring them into South African homes with the care they were designed for.
The houses we represent share our convictions: that a hinge can be a piece of precision engineering, that refrigeration can be architecture, that a coffee machine can be a morning ritual made permanent. We choose few brands, know them deeply, and stand behind every piece we place.
There are no prices on our walls, because a kitchen is not a basket of items. It is one considered whole — specified around your architecture, your rituals, and the way you gather. That work begins with a conversation, and the conversation is always private.
